Lack of Hunger
You can easily understand your pet depression by their food habit. A healthy cat will have a good appetite. A healthy cat needs food several times a day. If you give them excess food they never refuse that. Though healthy cats are always active at mealtime they are more active and excited. Many cats circle around your legs in mealtime. But if a cat has depression then they have no interest in food. They gradually lose their hunger and start avoiding food. In meal time they avoid the food or eat a little.
